Discovering Girona and the "Costa Brava". Wednesday 18 June.
Girona is one of the most important and beautiful cities of Cataluña. This interesting city, located 100 km north of Barcelona, has all the charm of a mid-size city without the inconvenience of large crowds. Girona offers a very extensive range of things to do as centuries of history are captured in its spectacular monuments. The town’s architecture is varied and atmospheric, resulting from the myriad of occupations and invasions with many narrow streets, a castle, and impressive walled section. The city invites you to lose yourself and walk around the ancient wall, the river, the Old Town and get to know the famous "Jewish Quarter" in this city.

After a lunch in a local restaurant, the tour will take you to Llafranc, a beautiful little town by the Mediterranean seaside near Girona, famous for its lighthouse and protected by mountain of Sant Sebastià. It offers one of the best views of all the Costa Brava. On the way back to Barcelona you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy spectacular views of some small and warm villages of the Costa Brava, such as Calella and Palafrugell.
