Session III RES : Breaking the inertia		Executive CEO Forum : Building the New Energy World: Smart, Clean, Secure
The session will focus on conditions under which the 2020 RES target can be reached in the most cost-efficient way, touching upon the expected technological development, the issue of market integration, grid development, balancing and regulatory issues, including permitting.		The forum will provide a platform for CEOs to debate the state of the business focussing on three key priorities: CO2, security of supply, liberalization. CEOs will focus primarily on the innovation and transformation needed at regulatory and industry level to achieve the EU and EURELECTRIC targets around CO2 emission reduction, whilst also satisfying other requirements such as shareholder return and security of supply.

Session keynote speeches will be followed by 2-3 focused presentations ? in the exhibition hall ? aimed at demonstrating practical examples of ?new energy world? projects and developments under way. This will be followed by a panel debate, with questions structured around an e-voting session with the audience.
The CEO Forum will kick-off with an EURELECTRIC Award presentation.
