The 2010 annual convention and conference in Dublin is EURELECTRIC's first climate-neutral event. EURELECTRIC will offset the foreseen CO2 emissions of the 2010 convention* through cooperation with the non-profit  foundation "myclimate", based in Switzerland.

myclimate supports and develops carbon offset projects around the world. Most international projects are in developing and threshold countries - Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Climate-impacting emissions generated by the EURELECTRIC conference will be offset by replacing climate-affecting fossil energy sources with renewable energy sources or energy efficient technologies in the aforementioned countries.
