Oslo City Hall
Oslo's
city hall is one of the most popular landmarks of the city. This massive
brick building facing Oslo's harbour was inaugurated in 1950 when Oslo
celebrated its 900th anniversary. Norwegian artists choose
motifs from the Norwegian history, culture and working life which
decorate the hall and some of the rooms.
The city hall is also the location where the Nobel Peace Price is
awarded every year on December.
