"Power talks" - Clean & Smart Transport: #itsElectric
21 September 2017
The Office, Rue d'Arlon 80, 1000 Brussels, Belgium
As European Mobility Week kicks off in Brussels the development towards a sustainable and decarbonised transport sector is set to be at the forefront of discussions.
EURELECTRIC is taking this opportunity to assess electromobility measures in current legislative initiatives (e.g. the revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive), and to also consider upcoming initiatives such as the revision of legislation on CO2 standards for cars and vans and the Clean Vehicles Directive.
What are the key measures required to support the development and deployment of electro-mobility and associated smart infrastructure? Will increasingly ambitious CO2 standards be sufficient to drive decarbonisation of the transport sector? How can EV batteries be properly recognised as important tools to support higher penetration of renewables and increase the reliability of electricity supply?
EURELECTRIC is pleased to invite you to debate this major opportunity for Europe with our distinguished panellists. Join us for a lively debate!
