At scale-up NET2GRID Bram works as Chief Product Officer and asks very often ‘what, why and when’ to drive the central platform, analytics and hardware roadmap with the end user and the client in mind, while also guiding product development teams to deliver the best solutions accelerating the energy transition using AI and machine learning on smart meter data.
In the last 2 decades Bram has been active in the area of Smart Home, Cleantech and EnTech with focus on Digital Convergence and Data-driven Business Accelerations (Smart Energy, IoT, Smart Home hardware/services, Mobile Apps) at NET2GRID, energy supplier incumbents Essent NL and E.ON International. 
 

Prior to switching into energy the sector he worked at consumer electronics firm Philips TV as manager Product Marketing for the EMEA region and at Philips Consumer Lifestyle Innovation in The Netherlands and India in various roles.

Michele Pissarello is responsible for the New Markets Business development within the Global Storage division in Enel X. Michele has 10 years of experience in the energy storage sector and has developed many of the key storage projects that paved the way to the growth of this sector.

 

He currently chairs the Applications & Economics Group inside the European Association for Storage of Energy (EASE). Prior to joining Enel X he worked at Toshiba, developing Smart Grid applications in EMEA, and Tesla, managing C&I sales in South EU. Michele holds an MBA from Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business (MIP).

Juan J. Alba joined Endesa in July 1997. He is currently in charge of regulatory affairs. 

Between 2000 and October 2004 he was the managing director of the European trading unit of Endesa, and was in charge of the Joint Venture with Morgan Stanley to develop this activity. Before 2000 he was in charge of regulatory affairs of the generation business at Endesa. Between 1986 and 1997 he was a researcher at the Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica (IIT) of Universidad Pontificia Comillas, in Madrid, where he worked on regulation, modelling electricity markets and application of computer techniques to power systems and equipments.

Juan J. Alba has been chairman of the Markets and Investments Committee of Eurelectric and is a member of the Management Committee of aelec (the association of the Spanish electricity industry), he has been member of the board of directors of EFET (the European Federation of Energy Traders), and co-chairman of its WG on financial regulation. He has been a member of the Supervisory Boards of Powernext (French Power Exchange) and Gielda Energii S.A. (Polish Power Exchange). He has a PhD in electrical engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid.

Christophe Gence-Creux joined the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators as the Head of the Electricity Department, on February 2011. ​He is responsible for the Agency’s electricity activities regarding network codes, infrastructure, system operation, grid connection market monitoring and adequacy.

Christophe holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Toulouse, where he used to teach Economics and Regulation. After a post-Doctorat at the Laval University in Quebec, where he continued his research on the Economic Regulation of network infrastructure industries. Christophe worked as an Economist consultant for the World Bank for the promotion of public-private partnerships in the financing of network infrastructures in the North-African and Middle-Eastern countries (MEDA) region.  

From 2003 to 2011, he worked for the French Energy Regulatory Authority, CRE, where he was in charge of the market integration process with neighbouring countries, the well-functioning of the French balancing market and its opening-up to cross-border balancing trade and to the participation of demand-side response.

Paul is active in public advocacy & EU affairs in Brussels since 2005. His experience in the energy policy filed covers grid integration of variable RES, R&D policy and related standardisation & engineering issues. As Eurelectric’s head of the Distribution & Market Facilitation unit, he and his team cover all aspects of regulatory frameworks for distribution grids including infrastructure investments, flexibility, tariffs & grid resilience.
