National Renewable Energy Action Plans (NREAP)

Based on The Renewable Energy Directive (2009/28/EC) (RED), which inter alia relates to the legally binding share of renewable energy in gross final energy consumption. In Article 4 of the Directive each Member State is requested to provide a National Renewable Energy Action Plan (NREAP) by 30 June 2010. In order to draft this plan, a template was published by the Commission.

Each Member State is requested to complete a set of tables in thee template on how it expects to meet its 2020 target, including the technology mix and the trajectory to reach it.
