Jorge Vasconcelos

Jorge Vasconcelos is Chairman of CEER, as well as Chairman of ERSE, the regulatory authority of the Portuguese electricity and natural gas industries. Prior to joining ERSE, Mr. Vasconcelos was in charge of programme development for the dynamic simulation of power systems in the electrical networks department of AEG, in Frankfurt, Germany (1986-1989). From 1989 to 1996 he was Deputy Secretary-General of EURELECTRIC (European Association of Electricity Industry).He was Guest Professor at the University of Pavia, Italy (1990-1991) and also lectures at the University of Coimbra since 2001.
