Project Name Hydro power plants of Iberdrola´s ownership

Project Location Along the four basins ( Tajo, Sil, Duero and Mediterráneo) where Iberdrola hydropower plants are installed. In particular, the name of these hydropower plants considered are as follows : Cernadilla, Villalcampo I, Montefurado 1 & 2, Millares II, Aldeadávila, Castro 1, El Picazo, Ribesalbes, Saucelle, La Muela, Torrejón, Conso, Puente Bibey 1 & 3, San Clodio, Sobradelo, Soutelo, Cedillo, Azután 1 & 2,  San Pedro 1 & 2, Santiago - Jares 1 & 2, Ricobayo 1, Castro 2, Villalcampo 2, Villarino 6, Cortes 2, Gabriel y Galán 1, Valdecañas 1, 2 & 3 and José María Oriol. 
Project Description The projects basically consist in the construction and exploitation of a number of hydro power installations  as well as the repowering of several large-hydro ,  in a total figure of 29 project units.

Project Name Combined Cycle Power Plants of Iberdrola in UK and in Spain

Project Location The eleven CCGT based projects are located in Spain at the sites of Aceca, Arcos de la Frontera, Castejón, Castellón, Escombreras and Santurce and in the case of United Kingdom are those of   Damhead Creek  ( Hoo Peninsula in Kent ) , Shoreham ( Shoreham Harbour in West Sussexand )  and Rye House Creek  ( near the market town of Hoddeston, in Hertfordshire, about 18 miles north of London ) . The latter three CCGTs were opened or incorporated to the portfolio of Scottish Power in 2000 and 2001. In mid-2007 Scottish Power became a company of Iberdrola Group after the purchasing operation from Iberdrola SA.  
Project Description In the case of the CCGTs as located in Spain, these projects have formed part of the Strategical Plan of the company, and their Iberdrola´s ownership rate is 100 %. It consisted of the construction of six gas fired combined cycle gas turbines (CCGT) power plants,  with a global efficiency at design conditions (full load, etc) of 56 to 58 %. These projects were commissioned from 2000 and put into commercial service from 2000 to 2006.  The latter three CCGTs were opened or incorporated to the portfolio of Scottish Power in 2000 and 2001. In mid-2007 Scottish Power became a company of Iberdrola Group after the purchasing operation from Iberdrola SA.

Project Name Cogeneration 
Project Category Electricity Generation: New Generating Capacity: CHP
Project Location In the area surrounding the cities of  Cartagena, Aranda, Villarrobledo, Carballo, Valladolid y Vitoria
Project Description These six CHP plants complement the portfolio of the company, being managed by an affiliated Iberdrola´s company (  100 % owned by Iberdrola -- Iberdrola Cogeneración, SRLU)  and produce heat for closed connected industrial factories (incl. SME), selling the extra electricity production to the National Grid , under the so-called Special Regime of tariffication. The largest CHP plant was put into service in July 2002.
