Clean Energy Package
The European electricity sector is fully committed to the energy transition and the decarbonisation of the European economy. In this context, the sector has identified its priorities and key policy recommendations with regard to the different elements of the Clean Energy Package. We elaborate on the European power sector’s key policy objectives and outline what we see as the key drivers and enablers to achieve these objectives, and the relevant policies, instruments and mechanisms that should be reformed, adopted and implemented.
