Headlining this year’s Power Summit is Alexander Stubb, President of the Republic of Finland, who in conversation with Eurelectric President and Fortum CEO, Markus Rauramo, will offer his perspective on Europe’s strategic direction in an increasingly complex geopolitical environment.
Eurelectric Vice Presidents will also take to the stage, Catherine Fiamma MacGregor, CEO of ENGIE, will discuss the role of utilities in driving Europe’s energy transition and strengthening competitiveness and Georgios Stassis, CEO of PPC S.A. will discuss the role and importance of AI in our sector.

As artificial intelligence drives a surge in electricity demand, this report will explore how Europe’s power sector can both enable the expansion of data centres and harness AI to optimise system operations. It will address the dual challenge of scaling up clean, reliable power supply while using digital tools to enhance grid efficiency, forecasting and maintenance – turning AI from a potential strain into a system-wide opportunity
