Grids and communities: value and new services for the energy transition

As part of the larger framework of EU Sustainable Energy Week, Eurelectric together with REScoop, Flux50 and TWEED (Technology of Wallonia Energy, Environment and sustainable Development) will organise a session “Grids and communities: value and new services for the energy transition”. The session will take place on 20 June 2019 2:00PM – 3:30PM in Brussels at the Charlemagne building, De Gasperi room.

This session will bring together Distribution systems Operators (DSOs), energy community stakeholders, regulators, clusters, technological players, project managers to discuss:

  • roles and benefits of distribution grid
  • energy communities in a decarbonized and decentralized energy system
  • future interactions and partnerships to be found between conventional and new actors
  • how regulatory and pricing frameworks could be developed to leverage business models
  • local innovation for flexibility services, e-mobility and aggregation
