System resilience in times of cyber threats

The second part of the Resilience series focuses on cyber threats and their impact on the power sector. Increasing digitalisation across the value chain of the power sector brings not only opportunities but also the growing need to protect against a higher number of more sophisticated cyber-attacks.  
 
Europe’s system operators need to brace themselves for more such cyber threats and thus find adequate responses. Our moderator Michael Jesberger, COO and member of the Executive Board of Transnet BW and co-chair of the DSO-TSO Platform will, together with our other high-level panelists from the utility industry, DSOs and policy makers discuss the following questions:

• Why is resilience to cyber-attacks of increasing importance?
• How can we build and maintain a secure infrastructure that can withstand any level of attack?
