ČEZ Akademie is an innovative project by ČEZ Prodej, developed in response to the growing need for households to manage their energy consumption more efficiently and reduce costs. In times of energy uncertainty, many households face the challenge of optimizing their energy use without making high-cost investments.
ČEZ Akademie combines expert guidance, regular evaluations, and practical webinars to offer participants concrete recommendations and support for implementing energy-saving measures. The project contributes to sustainable development and helps families effectively reduce their energy expenses. The educational videos are short, engaging, and informative, including practical demonstrations of implemented measures and fresh tips on how to save. Currently, ČEZ Akademie offers 50 episodes covering various energy concepts. Recent episodes have focused on topics such as flexibility aggregation, electricity sharing, and dynamic pricing products.
This online platform was launched at the beginning of 2023. The pilot course enabled over 8,000 participants to monitor their energy consumption regularly and receive personalized advice. On average, participants achieved a 6% cost saving. Within just four months, 1.4 million customers were invited to join ČEZ Akademie.
Customers have the opportunity to enter various competitions, such as the “Energy-Saving House” contest, where one of the finalists will win modern technologies that will reduce their energy costs — and they won’t pay for it.
