Bracing for change: recipes for a consumer's new deal

EURELECTRIC Meeting Centre (6th floor)

Customers are changing. Retail markets too.

Customers are increasingly opting for distributed energy resources, in particular distributed generation. They are investing in new, smart technology such as heat pumps, home management systems or connected objects. This gives them unprecedented control of their energy use at the touch of a button – or, increasingly, the swipe of a screen.
Delivering a New Deal for Energy Consumers will however only be possible if all players are engaged. Consumers need innovative companies. They also need sensible policymaking, empowering regulation and strong consumer representation both at EU and national level.

As the EU executive grapples with the implementation of this new deal and prepares the ground for legislative proposals, this event will bring together senior industry leaders to discuss how utility companies are radically changing their business model towards enhanced customer service, innovative products and added-value solutions. It will offer you first-hand insights into retail companies' strategies and a place to debate - with EU policymakers, regulators and consumer representatives – the necessary adjustments to the existing regulatory framework.
